Portrait of Lilian from the gold session

These days of vacation I have a lot of stuff that previously remained behind to attend to, but I’m making sure I have time to draw and paint. Yesterday I picked a photo from the sets of the Drawing Life Glasgow Portrait Club and got myself two hours for this gouache portrait:

In questi giorni di vacanza ho un sacco di cose in arretrato da sbrigare, ma mi sto assicurando di avere del tempo per disegnare e dipingere. Ieri ho scelto una foto dai set del Portrait Club di Drawing Life Glasgow e mi sono ritagliata due ore per questo ritratto a gouache:

I am very satisfied with the result, in particular I like the line of the chair on the yellow background and the flowing lines on the brim of the hat. I hope to find a studio soon and be able to switch to oil colors.

Sono molto soddisfatta del risultato, in particolare mi piacciono la linea della sedia sullo sfondo giallo e le linee fluide sulla falda del cappello. Spero presto di trovare uno studio e poter passare ai colori a olio.
