After being ill and then in the middle of moving house, I finally got back to my usual Thursday morning portrait session too. I feel a little rusty after all these weeks, so I thought it was a good idea not to immediately throw myself into working on canvas, but to go back gradually again, starting from the drawing. I worked in charcoal and soft pastels.

Dopo essere stata malata e poi in mezzo a un altro trasloco, finalmente sono tornata anche alla mia solita sessione di ritratto del giovedì mattina. Mi sento un po’ arrugginita dopo tutte queste settimane, quindi ho pensato fosse una buona idea non gettarmi immediatamente a lavorare su tela, ma riprendere gradualmente, partendo dal disegno. Ho lavorato a carboncino e pastelli morbidi.
