Portrait Club with model Rachel

In these days in Italy, the time I can pass drawing is not a lot: in addition to seeing friends and family that I had not seen for a year, I also started working again, so the days are very full compared to those I spend in Belfast. However, in the evening I try to set aside a few hours to continue studying drawing and portrait. These two portraits are made with reference pics taken from the Portrait Club of Drawing Life Glasgow, and are the result of two evenings of post-dinner drawing: one is in charcoal, the other in charcoal and chalk (I found several boxes abandoned in my Genoese room). The model is Rachel.

In questi giorni in Italia il tempo per dedicarmi al disegno non è tantissimo: oltre a vedere amici e familiari che nonvedevo da un anno ho ricominciato anche a lavorare, quindi le giornate sono pienissime rispetto a quelle che passo a Belfast. Tuttavia, la sera cerco di ritagliarmi qualche ora per continuare a studiare disegno e ritratto. Questi due ritratti presi dal Portrait Club di Drawing Life Glasgow sono il risultato di due serate di disegno post-cena: uno è a carboncino, l’altro a carboncino e gessetti (ne ho trovate diverse scatole abbandonate nella mia stanza genovese). La modella è Rachel.
