Out in Botanic Gardens, Belfast, with Ulster Urban Sketchers

A meeting was held on Saturday morning with the Ulster Urban Sketchers, one of the local drawing groups here in Northern Ireland. We went to Botanic Gardens and I spent an hour drawing in the rose garden, which was completely in bloom. I’m perfecting the use of gouache outdoor and slowly my method and organization are improving. Here is the result:

Sabato mattina si è tenuto un meeting con gli Ulster Urban Sketchers, uno dei gruppi di disegno sul territorio qui in Irlanda del Nord. Siamo andati a Botanic Gardens e io ho passato un’oretta a disegnare nel roseto, completamente in fiore. Sto perfezionando l’uso della tempera in giro e pian piano l’organizzazione sta migliorando.
