Figure This Drink and Draw at The Sunflower Bar, Belfast

About every three months Figure This organizes a drink and draw night at Belfast’s marvellous Sunflower Bar – a chance to draw live while sipping a pint and then stop after to get to know the other artists and have one more drink. Yesterday I went to the late summer one and it was a really wonderful session. These days I’m working a lot and late, so getting out of the coworking and going to the pub and then drawing was a great idea to relax. The model for the evening gave really great poses and I had a lot of fun. I worked mostly in charcoal, only in the final pose of 20 minutes I was able to work with soft pastels. Circa ogni tre mesi Figure This organizza una serata drink and draw al meraviglioso Sunflower Bar di Belfast: un’occasione per disegnare dal vivo mentre si sorseggia una pinta e poi fermarsi dopo a conoscere gli altri artisti e bere ancora una cosa. Ieri sono andata a quello di fine estate ed è stata una sessione davvero meravigliosa. In questi giorni sto lavorando molto e sino a tardi, quindi uscire dal coworking e andare al pub e poi a disegnare è stata un’ottima idea per rilassarmi. Il modello per la serata ha regalato pose davvero fantastiche e mi sono divertita molto. Ho lavorato per lo più a carboncino, solo nella posa finale di 20 minuti sono riuscita a lavorato con i pastelli. Ecco i lavori della serata:
