Drawing Cabaret Couture feat Alice Hampton

Like every week, last night I took part in the drawing session organised by Drawing Cabaret Couture. This time the garments were by fashion designer Alice Hampton, in an explosion of tulle and organza in shades of pink and violet. I have to tell the truth: pink is probably one of my least favorite colors, but this session made me re-evaluate it at least a little. I had to add some colour to the background because I couldn’t get the desired effect on the original white and powder colours, but in the end I am satisfied with the result.
As always, I worked digitally with Procreate on the iPad.

Come ogni settimana, ieri sera ho preso parte alla sessione di disegno firmata Drawing Cabaret Couture. Questa volta gli abiti erano della fashion designer Alice Hampton, in un’esplosione di tulle e organza sui toni del rosa e del violetto. Devo dire la verità: il rosa probabilmente è tra i colori che preferisco meno, ma la sessione me l’ha fatto rivalutare almeno un poco. Ho dovuto aggiungere sullo sfondo un po’ di colore perché su i colori di bianco e cipria non riuscivo a ottenere l’effetto voluto, ma alla fine sono soddisfatta del risultato.
