Chiharu Shiota: The Soul Trembles at MAO in Turin
As mentioned in the previous post, I couldn’t miss the trip to Turin for the exhibition of Alice Neel at the Pinacoteca Agnelli, one of my favourite artists. And while we were there, we made time for a wander around Turin, a city I love and visit often, as well as a visit to Chiharu Shiota’s installation at the MAO, the Museum of Oriental Art. Striking, without a doubt, though not quite my kind of art.
Come da articolo precedente, non potevo mancare di andare a Torino per la mostra dedicata al lavoro di Alice Neel alla Pinacoteca Agnelli, che è una delle mie artiste preferite. E mentre eravamo lì, non poteva mancare un po’ di tempo a zonzo per Torino, che è una città che amo e nella quale vado spesso, e una visita all’installazione di Chiharu Shiota al MAO – Museo di Arte Orientale. Molto d’impatto sicuramente, anche se non il mio tipo di arte preferita.
