At the Covid test walk through in Belfast

In recent weeks in Belfast (and a bit all across Europe) there has been a surge in Covid cases. If last year the cases between friends and acquaintances were very rare, his year everyone is falling ill, and many of the pubs I go to are closed because the staff has been infected. I did several lateral tests that I had at home, and they were all negative, but to be ready for New Year’s Eve I also decided to do a cpr for safety. So, after months of walking alongside it wondering what was in it, for the first time went to the Covid walk through center near my house, notebook and pencil in my pocket, determined to draw on the spot. However, everywhere it was written that it’s forbidden to take pictures or videos of the center, and the visit lasted too short to be able to draw even a few minutes. So as soon as I got out I ran home and created an illustration from what I saw. After all, isn’t it reportage anyway? Here it is, in three different versions:

Nelle ultime settimane a Belfast (e un po’ in tutta Europa) c’è stata un’impennata di casi di Covid. Se lo scorso anno i casi tra amici e conoscenti si contavano sulle dita di una mano, quest’anno praticamente tutti se lo stanno prendendo, e molti dei pub che frequento sono chiusi perché lo staff è stato infettato. Ho fatto diversi lateral test che avevo in casa, ed erano tutti negativi, ma per essere tranquilla in vista di capodanno ho deciso di fare anche un cpr per sicurezza. Quindi, dopo mesi passati a camminarci a fianco chiedendomi che cosa ci fosse dentro, per la prima volta sono andare al walk through centre qui vicino a casa, taccuino e matita in tasca, decisa a disegnare sul luogo. Tuttavia, ovunque c’era scritto vietato scattare foto o riprendere il centro, e la visita è durata troppo poco per riuscire a disegnare anche solo pochi minuti. Quindi appena uscita sono corsa a casa e ho creato un’illustrazione da quel che ho visto. Dopotutto, non è reportage anche in questo caso? Eccola, in tre versioni:
