Acrylics portrait session with model Courtney
It sounds unbelievable, but we’re already on three of the six live portrait sessions I bought at Belfast’s Crescent Art Center…and I’m wondering how I’m going to do without this weekly appointment. Today Courtney posed for us (those who follow this blog already know her because I drew her many times, for example at the last Drink & Draw at the Sunflower) for three hours and the morning went by so fast that I couldn’t finish the portrait. Again I am not very satisfied with the result, but slowly I will do better. Here are some photos of the work in progress and of the “finished” (more or less) work:
Sembra incredibile, ma siamo già a tre delle sei sessioni di ritratto dal vivo che ho acquistato al Crescent Art Centre di Belfast…e già mi chiedo come farò senza questo appuntamento settimanale. Oggi ha posato per noi Courtney (chi segue questo blog la conosce già perché l’ho disegnata molte volte, per esempio all’ultimo Drink & Draw al Sunflower) per tre ore e la mattinata è passata talmente veloce che non sono riuscita a finire il ritratto. Nuovamente non sono soddisfattissima del risultato, ma pian piano farò meglio. Ecco qualche foto del work in progress e del lavoro “finito” (più o meno):
